Be a force for good on May the Fourth

May the Fourth is Star Wars Day, a yearly celebration of all things Star Wars. We’re calling on people to celebrate by donating £4 to help us accelerate further, faster towards a galaxy where brain tumours are defeated.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re an original trilogy purist, a huge fan of everything – from the films and TV shows to the board games and novels – or you just think Baby Yoda is cute, today you can be a hero by standing up for around 88,000 people in the UK who are currently living with a brain tumour.

We’re the only brain tumour charity in the UK pushing for progress on three fronts!

Accelerating cures for all brain tumours!

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and young people under 40 – but together we can change that. We’re the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours. And, we’re committed to turning pioneering projects that sound like science fiction into reality.

Driving life-long care!

Unfortunately, we know that not everyone receives the support they need after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. We’re committed to helping level up brain tumour care so everyone affected has equal access to the care they need. And, where there are gaps that need to be filled, we aim to provide that support ourselves through services like our Benefits and Money Advice Clinic, Information and Support Line and our free counselling service.

Raising our global voices!

The brain tumour community is fed up with hearing that brain tumours are “too complicated” to solve. We’re committed to creating change, whether that’s influencing policymakers in Government and the NHS or spreading awareness of the signs and symptoms of brain tumours.
