Ways to support us
There are so many different ways in which your company can support us, from volunteering your time and sharing invaluable skills and knowledge through to fundraising and giving a Gift in Kind.
Help us make a difference
Take a look below at how you and your colleagues can support us.
-
If you have a Charity of the Year programme please consider nominating The Brain Tumour Charity or let us know when an application process opens, so we can apply. Our team will work closely with you to plan an inclusive calendar of fundraising, events and communications to bring our partnership to life. We will also be on hand to support all your activities and give inspirational ideas to help you reach your fundraising targets and CSR objectives. Meet our current and past partners.
-
Get your workplace involved in fundraising, whether it’s planning a quiz, holding a bake sale or taking on a sporting challenge.
Have a look at our ideas for fundraising at work for inspiration and let us know what you’re planning so that we can help kick start your fundraising. From providing fundraising materials to offering hints and tips, we are here to help.
-
Providing a gift or service to The Brain Tumour Charity can help us to reduce our running costs and allow us to concentrate our funding on reaching our goals. We receive many valued donations like technology solutions, office furniture and gifts for children, all of which are instrumental in helping us focus our funding into life-saving research, raising awareness and supporting families.
Donate meeting space
The cost of hiring a meeting space in central London for vital meetings can often lead to paying hundreds of pounds, which could instead be invested in life-saving research. We are regularly looking for companies who can offer us a meeting space to use on an adhoc basis. We are able to plan in advance and highlight your generosity and the difference you are making to our community through our website and social media channels.
-
Would you and your colleagues like to offer your time instead of, or as well as, fundraising for us?
We welcome pro-bono training and skill-sharing through learning lunches and training programmes, to support our learning organisational culture. Your staff will have the opportunity to share their valuable skills with us, our volunteers and inspirational Young Ambassadors to help us reach our goals.
We also have several enjoyable volunteering opportunities throughout the year – such as cheering on our runners at The Virgin Money London Marathon, supporting 1,500 walkers at The Twilight Walk series and helping out at our office over the festive season to assist us in sending out all our Christmas cards to our wonderful supporters.
-
Sponsoring an event provides a fantastic opportunity to promote your brand to a captive audience and achieve your CSR and marketing objectives.
Why not consider sponsoring our hugely successful annual The Twilight Walk Series? You could sponsor the entire event, provide bottled water with your branding or sponsor route markers.
Your company could also sponsor one of our influential evening events, including The Lewis Moody Foundation Ball or the Joseph Foote Ball, both of which attract celebrity endorsement and raise significant amounts for The Brain Tumour Charity.
Our team would work with you to find the best way to promote your brand at these high profile events.
-
Cause Related Marketing (CRM) is an excellent way for your business to work with The Brain Tumour Charity to promote a product or service for mutual benefit. It’s simple – link a product to The Brain Tumour Charity to help increase sales with a percentage of the profits being given to us.
Proven to build brand awareness, maintain customer loyalty and gain new consumer interest, CRM is a fantastic way to promote your product or brand and raise money for a good cause.
-
Payroll giving is a tax efficient scheme that lets employees donate to their chosen charities. The scheme allows for effortless regular donations through an employee’s salary before tax is deducted.
To find out more about how to set up payroll giving, contact our donations team by emailing donations@thebraintumourcharity.org or calling 01252 749990.
