Lace up your hiking boots and climb toward cures for brain tumours in the second instalment – Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge!
When you or a loved one is diagnosed with a brain tumour, you know there’s a steep challenge ahead of you. Help us even the playing field by tackling the second part of our Climb for Cures charity challenge – Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge – and raising funds so we can beat brain tumours sooner.
Starting from Corfe Castle, the route heads to Swanage, then along to Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups and downs all the way to the Weymouth halfway point.
For 100km challengers – it’s past Portland Bill, nature reserves, along the western end of Chesil Beach to West Bay’s famous cliffs, before a finish line celebration in vibrant Bridport. It will test spirit & determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support. With 50km, 25km and 10km challenge options also available – there’s a challenge here for everyone – and you can join as an individual or as a team of friends and family.

When you sign up to Climb for Cures, every mile you hike, every metre you climb and every penny you raise, will help give hope to those affected by brain tumours.
Every £300 you raise
could fund a day of world-class research into brain tumours.
Every £1,000 you raise
could fund the RNA sequencing required for one of our research projects developing cures for children with brain tumours for an entire year.
Every £2,000 you raise
could fund the bioluminesence imaging required for a year on one of our glioblastoma research projects.

We will support you through every step of your Climb for Cures journey, from fundraising advice to training tips. Below we have outlined some of the many ways we support our trekkers:
- Physical training support from team coach (we know it’s more than just putting one foot in front of the other!).
- Closed Facebook group for our fundraisers – introduce yourself to the rest of the team, you are all one big family by when it comes to the big day!
- Free charity t-shirt.
- Fundraising resources via The Brain Tumour Charity Website.
- Fully supported trek with experienced guides and charity staff on hand to help on the day.

No! There’s a challenge here for everyone. If you don’t want to take on the full 100km challenge you can sign up for any of the other distances and still fundraise for The Brain Tumour Charity.
